What's New - Vol. 7
The information here is probably useless, as it is created to help me orgnaize my ideas. However, I would be very glad if it helps someone.
Lenovo Legion Y700
I bought a new Android Pad this week. The experience is not bad.
I don't like closed source Android OS, especially those CN ROMs. I flashed ASOP the first time it arrived. I was afraid of the compatibility of GSI. Luckily it works well. The OS I installed is crDroid .
Some magisk modules are necessary:
- Fix module
- It provides lots of features. The essential one is that it disables calling, which helps save the battery life a lot.
- acc and
AccA
- It disables charging when the battery is full.
This article is helpful during my flashing.
I installed the following apps after flashing and I would recommend them to everyone.
- Auxio: A music player for local media.
- Tempo: A music player for self-hosted Subsonic services.
- Fennec: Firefox built by F-droid.
- KDE Connect: Share files or clipboard between my PC and Android pad.
- Read You: Android RSS reader.
This pad is still not good enough. It is too big and too heavy. Thus, it is not suitable to hold by one hand. However, the only smaller pad is iPad mini 7, which is much more expensive. It's a tradeoff.
Showa American Story
An interesting game is about to release next year: Showa American Story . To be honest, it is not the kind of game I like. The art is bad, and I don't like zombie killing games. However, the game is full of attitude of producers. I like such kind of games. I may try it if it gets good rating.
